Nearly 200 Children in Western Cali Now Know How to Take Care of Water

Students of all ages from the Liceo la amistad of commune 1 in Terrón Colorado and seventh graders from Eustaquio Palacios in commune 19 learned about good practices for the care of water on World Water Day.

Promoting the care of the environment and in two playful and pedagogical days, Ciudad Limpia, the cleaning company of the Center and West of the city, commemorated this Friday March 22 the World Water Day, with talks on separation at the source, proper waste management and the benefits of carrying out small practices such as turning off the faucet when brushing teeth and bathing, not wasting and reusing water.

The aim of these workshops is to raise awareness among children, so that they can replicate in their homes, affirmative actions for the care of the environment, because the clean city is not the one that is swept the most, but the one that is dirtied the least; and by taking care of the water, we also make the city clean.
